Coke Oven Dusting Compound (CORDUST)
CORDUST is used for Coke Oven wall repair applications specially for cracks which are not repairable by patching or spraying. CORDUST comprises of refractory materials with specifically designed granulometry and a superior binder system. It is also used for filling of micro gaps in the brick joints after relining the oven.
Product Function
CORDUST comprises of very fine materials containing very low physical moisture and is free flowing. During application from the charge door at the top of the oven it forms a cloud inside the oven and gets deposited on the brick walls, thereby sealing the micro cracks and which minimizes leaks from the oven walls. Due to it's superior binding properties CORDUST ensures instant adherence to the brick walls

Application
The material is applied through the Charge doors of the oven with the help of a special applicator under compressed air at 3-4 kg/cm²
Precautions
CORDUST should be stored in dry and covered area away from direct heat source.
Before application of CORDUST, the oven should be sealed properly including the Ascension pipes

CORDUST is packed in25 Kgs poly lined HDPE bags
Shelf Life
Shelf life of CORDUST is One year when stored under dry covered storage conditions.
