Coke Oven Spraying Compound (CORSPRAY)

CORSPRAY is a refractory spraying compound for repair of Coke Ovens specially for filling up of fine gaps between the end walls, brick work and smaller cavities in brick work by the conventional wet spraying techniques where patching may not be suitable.

Product Function

CORSPRAY comprises of refractory materials with selected granulometry and superior binder system. For application by spraying it is mixed with water in a ratio of 1:0.6 to form a homogenous suspension of spraying consistency. Due to superior binding system and good suspension agents in CORSPRAY, the product ensures good adherence to the brick walls and gradual development of strength with increasing temperature. This in tum ensures a good service life of the repaired areas with normal coke oven operating temperatures and conditions.

Application

The areas of defective brick work that need repairs are normally cleaned with a scrapper and compressed air.
CORSPRAY is the sprayed on to the defective area of the brick work.

Precautions

CORSPRAY should be stored in dry and covered area away from direct heat source.
The contents of a bag of CORSPRAY should be used fully at a time or the mouth of the bag should be tied properly.

Shelf Life

Shelf life of CORDUST is One year when stored under dry covered storage conditions.
